Traffic Accidents
Ms
Pearson was 17 years old when she was involved in a road
traffic accident. She was a passenger in a car which crashed
because the driver was going too fast. She suffered serious
head injuries which affected her memory and her ability
to concentrate. The injuries affected her empoyability and
meant that she was unable to pursue her chosen career. Case
Direct raised a court action on behalf of Ms Pearson but
the case did not have to go to trial as the driver's insurers
agreed to pay her compensation of £77,000.
Mr Henderson
was only 17 and had recently passed his driving test when
he had a serious road traffic accident. Another driver failed
to stop at a junction resulting in a head on collision which
caused back and facial injuries to our client. He missed
an important football trial and his school exams. Case Direct
organised a hired car until the other driver’s insurance
company forwarded payment for a replacement car. The insurers
paid Mr Naysmith £8,000 compensation for the road traffic
accident without the need to go to court.
Mrs
MacPherson was sitting in a queue of stationery traffic
when she had her accident. Another driver failed to stop
and crashed into the rear of her car causing serious injuries
to her legs. She was off work for seven months and had to
have several operations. She contacted Case Direct and we
won her compensation of £26,000 without having to go to
court. Mrs MacPherson’s employers paid her in full for the
time she was off work after the road traffic accident.
